Did you know that our highest caffeine blends are typically prepared with a lighter roast?

When you measure your coffee with a scoop, a light roasted coffee will usually contain more caffeine since it is more dense than a darker roast. The darker roast coffee will weigh less by volume since they lose water and expand when roasted longer.

Since most people prepare their coffee by volume measurement instead of weight measurement, the lighter roasted coffee will produce more caffeine per cup of coffee.
